Ghaziabad: ₹2.59 Crore Fraud in Property Deal, Complaint Filed by Real Estate Broker

A property dealer from Sanjay Nagar has filed a complaint alleging that he was cheated of ₹2.59 crore in a house deal in Kavinagar. In a separate incident, another person has accused a Delhi-based couple of fraud after they allegedly sold his plot to someone else despite the registry being executed in their favor.

Ghaziabad, March 5, 2026: Two separate cases of property fraud have come to light in Ghaziabad. In the first case, property dealer Radheshyam Narang, a resident of Sanjay Nagar, has filed a complaint with the police .

The ₹2.59 Crore Fraud

Narang stated in his complaint that he had negotiated a deal for a house in Kavinagar with Hemant Raghav, Vishal Raghav, Nihit Agarwal, and another person. He had paid ₹2.59 crore to Hemant Raghav. It is alleged that the accused neither got the house registered nor returned his money. Distressed, he filed a case against the accused at Kavinagar police station .
 

Second Fraud Case

In another incident, Sudhakar Mishra, a resident of Crossing Republic, filed a complaint alleging that he had negotiated the sale of his plot with Kapil Jalan and his wife Renu Jalan, residents of Ashok Vihar, Delhi .
 

The victim claims that despite the registry being executed, the accused did not make the full payment to him. Meanwhile, he discovered that they had sold his plot to someone else. When the victim demanded his money back, the accused threatened him. Based on the victim's complaint, a case has been registered against the accused at Crossing Republic police station .
 

Police are investigating both cases .
