YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme Receives RERA Approval, Set for Imminent Launch

Greater Noida, March 16, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority has registered the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority's residential plot scheme. The authority will launch this plot scheme after the board meeting related to the financial budget .
Resolution of RERA Objections
This plot scheme of the authority had been stalled for several months due to objections raised by RERA. After the draw for the plot scheme, YEIDA will execute a 'lease-to-agreement' in favor of allottees for the first time. The final 'lease deed' will be executed before handing over possession .
YEIDA had decided to launch a scheme for 973 plots before the end of 2025. RERA registration is mandatory before launching any plot scheme. The authority had applied for registration of the scheme, but RERA raised some objections. The authority had resolved most of the objections; however, considerable time was taken to reach consensus on the condition related to 'lease-to-agreement' .
YEIDA requested registration after accepting this specific condition imposed by RERA, following which the scheme has now been registered .

YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh stated that the residential plot scheme will be launched very soon .
