Centre Approves 11.56 Km Metro Extension from Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden

New Delhi | Feb 14, 2026 The Centre has approved an 11.56 km metro extension from Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden under the Noida Metro Rail Project. The new corridor will include eight elevated stations.
The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
🚉 Key Highlights of the Project
The extension will add 11.56 km of elevated metro tracks to the existing network.
After completion, Noida and Greater Noida will have a combined operational metro network of 61.62 km.
The corridor will connect Noida Sector 142 directly to Botanical Garden, which is a major interchange station.

At Botanical Garden, commuters will get seamless connectivity to:
