Ranchi, April 22: Bihar RERA Chairman Vivek Kumar Singh said that Bihar is progressing rapidly towards development and there are vast opportunities for residential projects in the state. Private sector participation can better fulfill the housing needs of the common people.

Vivek Kumar Singh said that the authority has implemented a filter-based system to simplify the project registration process, reducing difficulties for promoters in document submission and approval. If builders submit all required documents correctly, the authority adopts a positive and cooperative approach.

RERA Bihar is not only committed to promoting investment but also fully dedicated to protecting homebuyers' interests. Strict action is taken against any irregularities or violation of consumer interests.

Jharkhand Officials' Appreciation

Ajay Kumar Singh, Jharkhand Development Commissioner, praised Bihar RERA's working style and suggested that Jharkhand RERA should also take similar effective steps for homebuyer protection.

Consumer Awareness

Sanjay Singh, Investigation Commissioner of Bihar RERA, emphasized that before investing in any project, buyers must check its RERA registration. Two short films were also screened to raise awareness, followed by an open session addressing participants' queries.
