Noida, February 24, 2026: In a significant push to urban development in the National Capital Region, the Uttar Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Universal Success Group for developing an international theme-based residential township on 100 acres near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar.

The MoU, signed on the first day of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Singapore visit on Monday, entails an investment of ₹3,500 crore and is expected to generate employment for approximately 12,000 people .

Project Details

The proposed township will be developed in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority area, aimed at complementing the rapid urbanization around the Noida International Airport. According to officials, the project is scheduled to commence in 2027 and is intended to give the region "a new urban identity" as development accelerates around the airport .

The project is part of three MoUs signed with Universal Success Group totaling ₹6,650 crore, which also include a logistics park on the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway and a hyperscale data centre in the Noida-Greater Noida region .

Additional Investments

The second MoU provides for the development of a logistics park on 50 acres along the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway with an investment of ₹650 crore. The project is projected to generate about 7,500 jobs and is also planned for launch in 2027. Officials said the facility would play a key role in strengthening industrial and export activities in the state .

The third MoU establishes a hyperscale data centre park with 40 MW of IT power capacity on 10 acres in the Noida-Greater Noida region, involving an investment of ₹2,500 crore. The project is expected to create around 1,500 jobs and is targeted for launch in 2028 .

Government's Commitment

During interactions with industry leaders in Singapore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted Uttar Pradesh's "policy stability, a rapidly expanding expressway network and improving connectivity through air, road and rail corridors." He assured investors of state support "at every level" to ensure time-bound implementation of projects .

The government has already released significant funds to accelerate land acquisition in the Yamuna Expressway region. In January, the state government approved an interest-free loan of ₹2,474 crore to YEIDA under the Chief Minister's Industrial Area Expansion and New Industrial Area Promotion Scheme for the 2025–26 financial year .

Broader Investment Push

The MoUs with Universal Success Group are part of a larger investment drive during the Singapore visit, with total MoUs worth ₹19,877 crore signed on the first day.
