DDA Extends Payment Deadline for Towering Heights Allottees in Karkardooma to June 30

New Delhi, May 5: DDA has extended the timeline for making payment as per demand-cum-allotment letters issued to allottees of DDA Towering Heights, Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2025 (e-auction) and 2026 (FCFS).

Reason for Extension

The decision factors in delays in obtaining statutory approvals, as well as representations from allottees seeking additional time. Statutory approvals are expected to take 30-45 days from physical completion of the project.

Payment Timeline

  • No interest: For demands due on or before March 31, 2026 (extended to April 30, 2026)

  • Additional 30 days (up to July 30, 2026): Interest @10% applicable on demanded amount

  • Final deadline: June 30 for payment of demanded amount

No extension will be granted beyond July 30.

Project Details

The project offers premium 2BHK apartments. In the first phase (October 2025), DDA offered 1,026 flats. The second phase (January 2026) offered 741 flats on FCFS basis.

Towering Heights features a 48-storey tower rising to 155 metres – Delhi's tallest residential building. It is the first housing project developed under Delhi's Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) policy.

Location

The project is situated adjacent to Karkardooma Interchange Metro Station (Blue and Pink Lines), with links to NH-9, NH-24, and near Anand Vihar ISBT.
