Delhi Development Authority Puts 140+ Plots on E-Auction to Boost Revenue in New Delhi

New Delhi, April 29, 2026: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched a large-scale e-auction of over 140 plots and land parcels across the capital, aiming to boost revenue by monetising vacant land and assets.
The move is part of DDA’s strategy to strengthen its land disposal segment while offering opportunities for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional development.
Wide Range of Properties on Offer
The auction portfolio includes plots and built-up units across 12 categories:
• 24 residential plots
• 21 industrial plots
• 16 commercial plots
• 57 built-up commercial shops
• 10 institutional plots (including religious use)
• 5 multi-level car parking sites
In addition, smaller commercial units such as kiosks, a food court in Dwarka, a shop at Janak Place, a fuel station and a café site at Baansera’s Bamboo Oasis are also part of the offering. A group housing plot is also included.
Registration and Auction Details
Registrations for the e-auction opened on April 22, and applicants can submit earnest money deposits (EMD) until May 22, 2026.
Officials stated that the plots are located in prime areas across Delhi and include both reclaimed and newly identified land parcels that are free from legal encumbrances.
The auction schedule and detailed timelines will be announced after the registration window closes.
Digital-First Process
Participation in the e-auction requires a valid digital signature. Interested applicants can access property details, eligibility criteria and bidding procedures through the official DDA website and auction portal.
The authority emphasised that the fully digital process aims to ensure transparency and streamline allocation of land and commercial spaces.
Focus on Revenue and Urban Development
Through this initiative, DDA aims to generate significant revenue while facilitating urban expansion and commercial activity across Delhi. The diverse inventory is expected to attract developers, investors and businesses looking for land parcels in strategic locations.
