TGIIC to Auction 11 Acres Land in Raidurg with Upset Price of ₹139 Crore per Acre

Hyderabad, May 8: TGIIC is set to auction approximately 11 acres of land in Raidurg Panmaktha with a record upset price of Rs 139 crore per acre. The government anticipates pocketing around Rs 2,000 crore from these sales.
Auction Details
TGIIC issued a notification for the auctions on Thursday. One plot in survey no 83/1 measuring 6.29 acres will be auctioned on May 28, while another 5.09-acre plot in the same survey number will be auctioned on June 1. The government is expecting to pocket around Rs 2,000 crore by auctioning about 11 acres.
Previous Auctions in Raidurg
Land auctions held in October 2025 had fetched a record Rs 177 crore per acre, with TGIIC getting Rs 3,135 crore. The upset price at that time was Rs 101 crore per acre. A second auction for one plot of less than one acre had seen an upset price of Rs 3.10 lakh per sq yard and was sold for Rs 3.40 lakh per sq yard, giving TGIIC another Rs 160 crore.
Why Raidurg is in High Demand
There is huge demand for Raidurg land as it is home to some of the largest global corporates. T-Hub and T-Works are also located in the area. Proximity to the Outer Ring Road and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) adds to its lure.
Government Land Holdings
The state government owns about 470 acres of land in Knowledge City and has sold about 200 acres in past auctions. Official sources said about 70 acres of land in Raidurg is caught up in legal cases.
