Jaipur, March 23, 2026: The Jaipur Development Authority has proposed five new land pooling schemes to facilitate planned urban expansion, covering industrial, residential, and mixed-use development. Two of the schemes are planned along Mahal Road, while three are proposed on Agra Road, Kalwar Road, and near Tonk Road in Sanganer, officials said .

Scheme Details

Mahal Road Industrial Zone: JDA has identified a 127.08-hectare plot in Ramchandrapura across Rampura and Kanwarpura villages, earmarked largely for industrial use, with over 58% land allocated to industries and recreational spaces, including road networks up to 200 feet wide .

Mahal Road Residential Development: Another 266.42-hectare plot spanning Vidhani, Rampura, Kanwarpura, Jaichandpura, and Vimalpura villages has been selected primarily for residential development .

Agra Road Heritage City Plan: On the northeastern outskirts, a plot near Khori Ropada village on Agra Road has been identified for development under the heritage city plan, with both residential and industrial components .

Kalwar Road Mixed-Use Scheme: A mixed-use scheme covering over 380 hectares is proposed on Kalwar Road .

Tonk Road Mixed-Use Scheme: Another mixed-use scheme is planned in the Muhana Mandi area, where 62% land is residential, with provisions for public and semi-public use .
