Mumbai, April 14: The projects will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis within a 24-month timeline.

Project Package 1 (Pune Region)

  • Target areas: Smaller urban local bodies (sewage treatment capacity below 5 MLD, population below 1 lakh)

  • Sewage treatment capacity: 120.50 MLD

  • Interception & diversion networks: 209 km

  • Sewer pipelines: ~887.20 km

  • Contract value: ₹587.21 crore

Project Package 2 (Nashik Region)

  • Target areas: Larger urban local bodies

  • Sewage treatment capacity: 121.10 MLD

  • Interception & diversion infrastructure: 105.50 km

  • Sewer pipelines: 433.68 km

  • Contract value: ₹384.98 crore

Scope of Work

The projects cover design, construction, and commissioning of:

  • Sewage treatment plants (STPs)

  • Interception and diversion networks

  • Sewer pipeline systems

The projects aim to:

  • Improve urban sanitation infrastructure in smaller and mid-sized towns

  • Enhance wastewater treatment capacity

  • Reduce untreated sewage discharge

  • Support compliance with environmental norms
