MCM Sets April 27 Deadline for Manesar Land Survey Under 'Naksha' Project

The Municipal Corporation of Manesar has set April 27 as the deadline to complete the ongoing digital land survey under the Centre's 'Naksha' project, with officials urging residents to cooperate with field teams to ensure accurate records.

Gurugram, April 24: At a review meeting, MCM Commissioner Pradeep Singh assessed the progress and directed survey teams to expedite work.

Survey Scope

The survey is being carried out across:

  • Villages

  • Residential sectors

  • Commercial areas

Technology Used

  • Drone mapping

  • Other technical tools

  • Verification with existing revenue records (patwaris deployed)

Pilot Project Status

Manesar is among a few urban local bodies in Haryana where the pilot project is being implemented, along with Municipal Corporation of Panchkula and Narnaul municipal council.

Pradeep Singh, MCM Commissioner: "Land records in urban areas are being digitised under the central government's pilot project. Urban land management will increase public trust and promote infrastructure development."
