Nagpur Civic Body Plans Up to 15% Rebate as 44% Property Owners Avail Tax Sops
Encouraged by strong response from taxpayers, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has proposed reintroducing rebates of up to 15 per cent on property tax payments, with nearly 44 per cent of the city's total property holders availing the incentive scheme last year.

Nagpur, April 10: The proposal has been submitted to Municipal Commissioner Vipin Itankar for approval.

Official Statement
A senior official said: "The previous scheme clearly demonstrated that rebates act as a strong motivator. With nearly half of the city's property owners participating, we expect even better compliance if the revised structure is approved."
