Gurugram: Affordable Housing Rules Revised, New Rates and Mandatory Parking Notified

Gurugram, April 10: The Town and Country Planning Department has issued an official notification regarding the amendments.
Key Changes
Mandatory Dedicated Parking

One dedicated parking compulsory for every flat

Charge: Approximately 10% of flat cost

Additional parking spaces can be used for visitor parking or two-wheelers

Clear marking of all parking slots mandatory at the time of building plan approval
For Projects with Existing Approvals

If licenses and maps are already approved but parking provision is missing, builders must obtain consent from at least two-thirds of allottees for changes

Not applicable for projects that have already received Occupancy Certificate (OC)

Provision for Applicants

For schemes where applications have already been invited, additional amount will be charged as per new rates

If an applicant does not wish to participate in the draw at new rates, their deposit will be refunded without deduction
